Hipstamatic Classic App Reviews

Hipstamatic the app works fine. But Hipstamatic the company needs to stop abandoning their other apps. Seriously.

Doesnt save photos correctly according to presets. Previous review: Bottom line, Its a great update! Hipstamatic has always been buggy. The editing tools put on their big boy pants. What a welcome addition.

The latest update is serious, huge and has no equal in appdom! The new features are easy to use and control! Huge congrats! I love it! I also shoot with a Sony digital camera. Rock on Hipsta!

Update: I was able to solve my problem - I deleted the iCloud backup file for Hipstamatic and then I was able to restore all my paks (Ive bought all the hipstapaks!) So far everything seems solid. Thanks, Ive been using Hipstamatic since it first came out! --------------- If you have a problem restoring your paks: It downloads and then gets stuck "Unpacking...". Or it says "Directory or zip does not exist to register equipment." Go to Settings / General / Storage & iCloud Usage and find and delete the Hipstamatic backup file. Then it should restore.

I can get the app to work sometimes in Classic mode but not always. Cannot use front camera and the lenses and films dont work properly. Not working very well on iPhone either, but it is far more useable. This used to be the premiere photo app on iOS, but its fallen from its former heights, not because others have gotten better, but because the app has gotten worse.

Ive been using it fine on my iPad mini but this update killed it for Pro mode. It works in the little camera mode, which I hate to use. I have tried a dozen times in Pro mode, you can choose your preset but then when you press the shutter button, nothing happens. What the heck happened? Please fix

Version 320 is actually a step backwards in terms of using Hipstamatic in Classic Mode on an iPad. Changing lenses and films in Classic Mode is now virtually impossible. It appears you have to create a new preset combination; you can no longer just swipe through your lenses and films. Shake to randomize does not work at all, and the interface in Classic Mode can no longer be expanded to fill the entire screen—it covers just a small (and non-centered!) portion. I have deleted 320 on both my iPad and iPhone and gone back to the previous version (Ive been a fan of Hipstamatic for years) until this one is fixed.

Look above. And Im really digging all these (new?) features. Like the post-editing feature--when did that come along? I stayed away from this app (not intentionally) for a couple of years and when I recently came back I was thinking "hey this is actually very very useful!"

I loved Hipstamatic when it first came out, but stopped using it and recently downloaded it again, and the new interface is awful! Its really hard to change camera lenses, films, etc. It does seem easier to change the white balance and things like that though. I love the app, but interface is hard to get used too and I havent used it as much as a result.

Crashes on iPad every time. Whats wrong with you? You had the same problem with changing to the new style camera on iPod! Dont you try your software before releasing it?

What happen to This app? This was a good app now is just unusable.

Biased of course, but it still is my go-to photo app!

I hate this app. Download it every once in awhile to see if the bugs arent fixed. Nope. Always has problems. Always delete again. Always has some bug or problem.

I recently purchased the Hipstamatic photo/video bundle and both apps constantly crash on my iPad Pro running iOS 10. I had heard great things and even bought a few of the bundled packs on Hipstamatic before the apps started crashing. Im incredibly disappointed.

Ugh! Can I have a refund? Took my .99 from the newest pack and I cant even download it cause my iPod 5th generation isnt compatible with iOS 10. Not to mention it says Hipstamatic isnt updated which it clearly is. Will this happen everytime a new pack comes out?

This is, without a doubt, my all-time favorite app. Its easy to use and gives such character to snapshots. And just when I think its the best it will ever be, it gets even better.

The most recent update has rendered this once fantastic app unusable on my iPhone 6 running ios 10. Freezes every time I try to make adjustments to an image. I hope a fix is forthcoming.

Used to work on iPad and iPhone, now only works on iPhone. Was a great app. Please fix.
